4 way system
Societal and biological evolutionary changes.
Let’s start with biology. Humans may have a 4 set brain. Read this with a bird’s eye view. Are you ready?
Organism works with the quick and decides daily, it’s our first subset function, processes it through the second subset which is an ignorance machine ,which also decides what must be sent to the third set, which stores what is sent through the brain. Then there’s the fourth one which processes what it has been seeing for sometime now and is beneficial for its base instincts , which It then permanently wires into the brain. These wires is what becomes human evolution. Slowly slowly with multiple uses of this wired mechanism and more frequents ones , so much agency can be created that the animal starts working automatically. His relationship with the world and his own processes become concrete. And this can explain what eventually creates its self consciousness. It’s it’s habits vs the very noticeable frequent impact it has on inanimate objects which it tries to, Then automate.
Same can be said about human cultural evolution. We like to stay in our ignorance biases and tend to act out the prevalent group biases of our time. All while executing some of our free will through the first subset and ignorance through the second subset. Then at some point when everyone is on the same page , it is more able to see the faults in the whole setup. This is memory at work. People realise this system of society just ain’t working , and also group is more of a sacred savior for the ignorant , so they make the necessary changes using the fourth subset. By rejecting the old. And so society has transitions and revolutions and it evolves. The internet does this now faster than ever just like it happened with later chinps because they found doing more and more things and remembering them is good for biological evolution just like it’s good for the societal evolution.
We are at a point I conclude, where we will have a moment just like the chimp did of how his own movements, (like the masses movements and decisions) is affecting the world in which they live. We will start to identify ourself more responsibly with our group actions. Dig deeper to find the perfect actions. And in this way proper group consciousness will emerge as well as self consciousness. In the meantime though, get ready for a little bit of overhyped self censorship.
